The Audio Drama is one of my favorite memories from childhood.
Growing up as a family, we would go on long extended vacations. We would only take with us an oversized tent, at the beginning, and a pull behind pop-up trailer tent toward the end. All our provisions packed up on the roof of the car, a' la Griswalds, and just head out.
Every year would be somewhere different.
One year It was The Maine Coast. Another It was Worlds Fair and Smokey Mountains. The biggest of these was the trip from Ohio westward through to "top" of our great Nation to Yellowstone And Arizona and back again. Through all the years the only constants that we had were our sense of adventure, KOA Camp Grounds, and listening to The CBS Radio Mystery Theatre shows every night while sitting around the campfire.
